COURSE REPORT:
The Cal State San Marcos women's golf team placed fourth at the NCAA DII Regional Preview Invite, finishing with a 47-over 615 (304-311) after two rounds played on Monday and Tuesday at Pueblo Country Club.
FIRST TEE
- Avery Foster led the Cougars with a runner-up finish, carding a 2-over 144 (71-73) and tallying six birdies across both rounds.
- Abby Sickles tied for 54th with a 16-over 158 (82-76), highlighted by three birdies in round two.
- Chloe Rahn also tied for 54th at 158 (79-79), collecting two birdies and an eagle in the tournament.
- Carmella Carlisi finished tied for 70th with a 20-over 162 (79-83), adding one birdie.
- Kiara Hernandez played only one round, shooting a 4-over 75 with three birdies before having to withdrawal.

- Dallas Baptist won the team title with a total score of 16-over 584 (289-295).
- Madison Ude of DBU claimed individual medalist honors with an even-par 142, shooting rounds of 72 and 70.
- Dallas Baptist's Madison Ude and Olivia Heard of Colorado State Pueblo led all golfers in birdies, each recording eight over the course of the tournament.
- Chloe Rahn recorded CSUSM's only eagle in the tournament, collecting it in the second round on hole 16.

The Cougars return to action at the East Bay Fall Tournament on Oct. 27-28 at Stonebrae Country Club in Hayward, California. The two-day event will serve as CSUSM's final fall tournament before the spring season begins.
