TURLOCK, Calif. – An early second-half goal was the difference as the Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team (4-5-3, 3-2-0 CCAA) fell 1-0 to No. 2 Stanislaus State (11-0-1, 5-0-1 CCAA) on Sunday afternoon at Warrior Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A scoreless first half saw the Warriors have the edge in shots at 11-8, but the Cougars had the advantage in shots on goal (3-2) and corner kicks (1-0).
- Stanislaus broke up the scoreless contest in the 48th minute. A diagonal pass across the field from Adrian Yepez in Warrior territory to Sebestian Carbajal at the top of the box resulted in Carbajal putting a high shot into the top right corner of the goal to make it a 1-0 game.

- CSUSM ended the game with more shots on goal at 7-5, but Stanislaus led the way in shots (19-14) and corner kicks (2-1).
