CSUSM Secures Four-Set Win Over Dominguez Hills

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team (3-14, 2-7 CCAA) secured a 3-1 victory (25-23, 28-26, 16-25, 25-20) over Cal State Dominguez Hills (6-9, 3-6 CCAA) on Thursday evening at The Sports Center.

  • Set 1: CSUSM used a 5-1 run midway through the set to take a 15-10 lead, highlighted by kills from Nelia Trower and Addison Kranz. The Toros rallied late, but a kill from Kranz sealed the 25-23 win.
  • Set 2: The Cougars overcame a late deficit with clutch kills from Elenor Brislen and Izabella Santa Cruz. After tying the set at 24, CSUSM closed it out 28-26 on a Toro setting error.
