No. 25 CSUSM Hosts CCAA Leader No. 13 CSUEB To Determine Conference Champion
The No. 25 Cal State San Marcos softball team (34-15, 20-12 CCAA) will play its final 2025 regular-season games at home this weekend as it hosts CCAA leader Cal State East Bay (35-10, 23-9 CCAA) in a four-game series beginning on Friday with a 1 p.m. doubleheader before concluding with an 11 a.m. twinbill on Saturday,Following Saturday's games, CSUSM will honor seniors Aneesa Arredondo, Savannah Coyle, Paige Donnelly, Dahlia Fink, Makeznie Guiliano, Mackenzie Kestler, Gianna Lombardi, Delaney Prater, Jayline Sloss and Madison Waymire.
No. 18 CSUSM Splits Saturday Twinbill at CSUDH
The No. 18 Cal State San Marcos softball team (34-15, 20-12 CCAA) ended the weekend with a run-ruled, five-inning 9-1 victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills (29-20, 16-14 CCAA) on Saturday at Toro Field in Carson. The Cougars split the doubleheader, falling 5-3 in the opener. With the win, CSUSM secured its spot in the CCAA Tournament which will be held April 30-May 3 in Rohnert Park on the campus of Sonoma State.

The No. 18 Cal State San Marcos softball team (33-14, 19-11 CCAA) suffered back-to-back walk-off home run losses to Cal State Dominguez Hills (29-20, 16-14 CCAA) on Friday at Toro Field in Carson.
Errors Haunt No. 18 CSUSM in Doubleheader Loss to CUI
The No. 18 Cal State San Marcos softball team (33-12) dropped both ends of Tuesday's non-conference doubleheader to Concordia University Irvine (32-10) at CSUSM Softball Field by scores of 4-1 and 6-5.
No. 18 CSUSM Concludes Homestand Tuesday, Heads to CSUDH This Weekend
The No. 18 Cal State San Marcos softball team (33-10, 19-9 CCAA) will conclude its 10-game homestand on Tuesday in a 12 p.m non-conference doubleheader against RV Concordia University Irvine (30-11, 20-8 PacWest) before resuming CCAA play at Cal State Dominguez Hill (27-20, 14-14 CCAA) this weekend. The doubleheaders in Carson will be at 1 p.m. on Friday followed by a 12 p.m. start time on Saturday.
