Playing its first doubleheader of the year, the Cal State San Marcos baseball team (3-0) earned the series win as it won both games against Colorado School of Mines (0-3) on Saturday at Dennis A. Pugh Field. The Cougars earned a 14-7 victory in the first game before taking the series with a come-from-behind 6-5 walk-off win in the nightcap.

The Cal State San Marcos baseball team (1-0) opened its 2026 campaign with a dominant 14-3 victory over Colorado School of Mines (0-1) on Friday afternoon at Dennis A. Pugh Field. The Cougars exploded for eight runs over the first two innings and never trailed in the wire-to-wire win.

Cal State San Marcos Athletics had 103 student-athletes earn the Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement Award for the 2024-25 academic year.

The Cal State San Marcos Department of Athletics saw a conference-leading 126 student-athletes earn CCAA All-Academic honors from the league office on Wednesday.
