COURSE REPORT: For the second consecutive year, the Cal State San Marcos women's golf team was crowned the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational champion after carding a 32-over 896 (295-297-304) in the two-day 54-hole tournament. Regan Barton and Diana Delgado were crowned individual medalist after posting identical 2-over 218s.
FIRST TEE
- Barton took home the first-place hardware after a two-hole playoff victory over Delgado.
- Barton improved on her back-to-back 74s with a 2-under 70 in the third round.
- Delgado posted a 74 in the final round after registering a 1-under 71 and 1-over 73 in yesterday's rounds.
- Makenna Cabardo and Kiara Hernandez shared 15th place with two other golfers after posting a 14-over 230.
- Chloe Rahn rounded out CSUSM's five golfers with a 26-over 242 (78-76-88) for a share of 48th place.
- Hannah Anderson was CSUSM's top individual, finishing tied for 28th with a 19-over 235 (81-78-76).

INSIDE THE SCORECARD
- CSUSM led the field in Par 4 scoring (4.27, +40) and birdies (34).
- Diana Delgado collected her second CSUSM Fujikura individual medalist of her career. As a freshman in 2022, she posted a 1-under 143 to beat Barry's Alice Gotbring by two strokes.
- This was Regan Barton's second tournament victory. She was crowned the 2024 CCAA Champion after carding a 2-under 214 (70-69-75) in Santa Rosa.
- This is CSUSM's fourth tournament win this season.
