COURSE REPORT:
The Cal State San Marcos women's golf team dominated the field at the Lady Bulldog Desert Classic, claiming the team title with a final score of 11-over 875 (297-291-287) after three rounds played at Avondale Golf Club on Monday. The Cougars were the only team to post a sub-par round, closing with a 1-under 287 to seal the victory.
FIRST TEE:
- Chloe Rahn led the Cougars and the entire field as an individual, finishing 3-under 213 (71-68-74) with a tournament-high 12 birdie count.
- Kiara Hernandez placed second overall at 1-under par 215 (70-73-72), carding multiple birdies across all three rounds.
- Carmella Carlisi tied for third with a 3-over 219 (73-70-76), highlighted by a strong second round.
- Abby Sickles and Avery Foster both tied for fifth at 6-over 222. Sickles posted rounds of 77-75-70 while Foster shot 77-73-72.
- Ellaclair Leedom rounded out the team scoring in a tie for 10th at 12-over 228 (77-78-73), finishing strong with a 1-over final round.
- Hannah Anderson (IND) tied for 17th at 16-over 232 (78-79-75).
- Nataliya Laciste (IND) placed 26th at 24-over 240 (78-79-83).
