Cal State San Marcos Athletics placed third in the 2025-26 CCAA Robert J. Hiegert Commissioner's Cup standings. The award was announced at the conference's annual spring Executive Council meetings on Wednesday, June 3.
Foster, Hernandez Earn All-America Honors
Cal State San Marcos women's golf took home multiple end-of-year recognitions, with Avery Foster being named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American first team and Kiara Hernandez an honorable mention for the second time. Both golfers were also named to the All-West Region Team.
No. 7 CSUSM Concludes Season in NCAA Semifinals
The No. 7 Cal State San Marcos women's golf team closed out its season with a 3-2 loss to No. 2 Dallas Baptist in the semifinals of the NCAA Division National Championships. Earlier in the day, the Cougars took down St. Mary's (TX) by score of 3.5-1.5.
