The Cal State San Marcos softball team (38-20) will make its fourth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Division II Softball Championships as the No. 3 seed in the NCAA West Regional as announced on the NCAA Division II Softball Selection Show on Monday morning.

The third-seeded Cal State San Marcos softball team (38-20) fell 8-6 to second-seeded San Francisco State in the championship game of the CCAA Tournament presented by FloCollege on Saturday afternoon.

After falling 3-1 to San Francisco State, the third-seeded Cal State San Marcos softball team (37-19) rallied for a 3-1 win over top-seeded Cal State East Bay in an elimination game of the CCAA Tournament presented by FloCollege on Thursday at Seawolf Softball Field on the campus of Sonoma State.

The Cal State San Marcos softball team (37-18) pulled off a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills (31-25) to advance to the double-elimination round of the CCAA Tournament presented by FloCollege on Wednesday at Seawolf Softball Field on the campus of Sonoma State.

The Cal State San Marcos softball team (35-18) will look to defend its title in the CCAA Softball Tournament presented by FloCollege this week. The third-seeded Cougars will face sixth-seeded Cal State Dominguez Hills (31-24) in a single elimination game on Wednesday, April 30 at noon at Seawolf Softball Field on the campus of Sonoma State.

The Cal State San Marcos softball team picked up eight All-CCAA honors as Paige Donnelly, Jayline Sloss and Madison Waymire were named to the first team, Jillian Albayati, Savannah Coyle and Delaney Prater garnered second-team honors and Gianna Lombardi and Dahlia Fink were named honorable mentions, the conference office announced on Monday.
