CSUSM Staves Off Elimination With 3-1 Win Over CSUEB
ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – After falling 3-1 to San Francisco State, the third-seeded Cal State San Marcos softball team (37-19) rallied for a 3-1 win over top-seeded Cal State East Bay in an elimination game of the CCAA Tournament presented by FloCollege on Thursday at Seawolf Softball Field on the campus of Sonoma State.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Gators took a 1-0 lead on a bases-loaded walk in the first inning.
- SF State's second run of the game came in the second inning on a walk pitch that Emily Madrigal capitalized on.
- An RBI single by Rylee McDaniel raised SF State's lead to 3-0 in the fifth inning.
- The Cougars got on the board in the sixth on a Delaney Prater RBI single to left to make it 3-1.
