Cougars See Two NCAA Provisionals, School Record, Five Top-10 Program Marks at Mangrum Invitational

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team posted two NCAA provisionals, a school record and a total of five top-10 program marks at the Mangrum Invitational on Friday at Mangrum Track & Field.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

  • Rasha Badrani broke her own school record in the 400-meter dash with an NCAA provisional time of 54.67 seconds – beating her old time by .08.
  • Badrani then recorded an NCAA provisional time in the 400-meter hurdles at 59.97 seconds.
  • Autumn Shomaker had the third-best long jump mark in program history at 5.67 meters.
  • Jordyn Brooks recorded the sixth-best triple jump mark in team history at 11.14 meters.
  • The 4x400-meter relay team of Kristin Cole, Badrani, Clara Haungs and Adriana Hewitt recorded the seventh-fastest time in program history at 3:49.77.
  • Shaylee Mutka ran the eighth-fastest 100-meter hurdles time in program history at 14.59 seconds, a tenth of a second faster than her old mark.
  • Taylor Cartwright tied her mark of 1.52 meters and finished second in the high jump open.
  • Rachelle Zilavec finished second out of 20 entrants in the javelin throw with a mark of 37.38 meters.
