School Record, NCAA Provisonal, Four Program Marks Set for Cougars in Busy Weekend

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team recorded a school record, an NCAA provisional time and a total of four top-10 program marks in five meets taking place Thursday through Saturday.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES AT THE MT. SAC RELAYS

  • Rasha Badrani broke her own school record in the 400-meter dash by 1.95 seconds, finishing with an NCAA provisional time of 52.72. Her time is currently No. 1 In Division II this season and ranks 23rd all-time.

 
TOP PERFORMANCES AT THE BRYAN CLAY INVITATIONAL

  • Aliyah Ratcliffe tied for the seventh-best long jump mark in program history at 5.28 meters.

 
TOP PERFORMANCES AT THE ULV LEOPARD INVITATIONAL

  • Angela McManus had the eighth-fastest 10,000-meter time in team history at 36:26.28, finished third out of 24 entrants.
  • Kennadi Cauley had the ninth-fastest 3000-meter steeplechase time in program history at 11:46.46.
  • Hallie Lomeli placed second out of 51 entrants in her section of the 1500-meter run with a PR of 4:51.12.

 
TOP PERFORMANCES AT THE PACIFIC COAST INVITATIONAL

  • Badrani finished second out of 36 entrants in the 400-meter hurdles at 57.95 seconds.

CSUSM will return to action at the CCAA Track & Field Championships hosted by Stanislaus State on May 1-3 in Turlock.
