Five Cougars Earn All-CCAA Honors

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team had five All-CCAA selections as Danielle Paulson was named to the first team while Natalia Huntington, Allison Marcure, Natalie Paulson and Isabelle Walsh were named honorable mentions, the conference announced on Wednesday morning.
 
Danielle Paulson earned first-team honors for the first time as a defender after leading the team with five goals for the year. Of those five goals, the junior recorded three game-winners. This is Paulson's second All-CCAA honor as she was named an honorable mention in 2023.
 
Huntington was named a forward honorable mention for the third consecutive year. The junior ended the year with two goals, two assists and six points.
 
Marcure was named an honorable mention for the third straight year as a goalkeeper. The redshirt senior made 33 saves with 18 goals allowed while posting five shutouts. She ended her CSUSM career as the program's all-time saves leader with 193.
 
Natalie Paulson was named an honorable mention for the first time as a defender. The junior ended the season with three goals, two assists and eight points while recording two game-winning goals. This was Paulson's second time earning All-CCAA honors as she was named to the first team in 2023 while also being named the conference's Player and Defender of the Year.
 
Walsh made her All-CCAA debut as a midfielder honorable mention. The sophomore concluded the year with one goal, an assist and three points.
 
This was the third consecutive season in which CSUSM had at least five All-CCAA selections after earning seven in 2023 and five in 2022.
