COURSE REPORT:  The Cal State San Marcos men's golf team is in 14th place heading into the final round of the NCAA Division II West / South Central Super Regional after posting a 10-over 294 on Friday in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
 
FIRST TEE

• Greg Mouser moved up three spots and is tied for 22nd place with a 1-over 143 (72-71).
• Jason McElroy is tied for 47th place with a 5-over 147 (72-75).
• Arman Rahgozar slid up eight spots too tied for 54th place with a 6-over 148 (75-73).
• Gavin McCormick and Patrick Jaksch also moved up the leaderboard as McCormick is tied for 82nd place with a 10-over 152 (77-75) and Jaksch is in 102nd place with a 19-over 162 (79-83).

INSIDE THE SCORECARD

• West Texas A&M (563, -5) and Colorado Christian (564, -4) jumped over round-one leader and host Western New Mexico and sits in first and second place, respectively.
• The top of the leaderboard features a three-way tie with Colorado Christian's Adam Duncan, Oklahoma Christian's Leandro Mihaich and Chris Wardrup of Cal State San Bernardino with a 6-under 136.
• McElroy recorded an eagle on the fourth hole and was one of eight golfers with an eagle in the first round.
• Two more golfers joined Jason McElroy with eagles after the second round, raising the total to 10 golfers in the tournament.
