COURSE REPORT:  The Cal State San Marcos men's golf team sits in seventh place with a 23-over 311 following the first round of the CCAA Championships in Santa Barbara at the Sandpiper Golf Club on Monday.

FIRST TEE

• Arman Rahgozar, CSUSM's top golfer after Monday's round, tallied three birdies and three bogeys to finish with an even-par 72 and is tied for fourth place.
• Nick Mouser started the day strong with a 2-under 34 on the front nine but finished with a 5-over 77 and is tied for 23rd.
• Greg Mouser is tied for 32nd after carding an 8-over 80, followed by Jason McElroy who is tied for 35th with a 10-over 82.
• Vinny Bengtson shot a 12-over 84 and is in 39th place.
