CSUSM Punches Ticket to Regionals
INDIANAPOLIS – The Cal State San Marcos men's golf team is set to compete in the NCAA Division II West/South Central Regional on May 8-10 at Victoria Club in Riverside, the NCAA men's golf committee announced on Friday.
The Cougars, ranked No. 10 in the final West Regional poll, will be one of 20 teams with 10 teams from the West Region and another 10 from the South Central Region making up the field. Four individuals from each region will join the 20 teams going for the medalist honor and a chance to advance to the final site.
The 2025 DII Men's Golf Championship will take place from May 19-23 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The top six teams and the top two individuals from a non-advancing team will go on to the championship site.
The Cougars closed out the season with a seventh-place finish at the CCAA Championships.
