COURSE REPORT: Cal State San Marcos' Patrick Jaksch dominated in round two to capture the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawk Invitational individual medalist honors with a 7-under 137 on Tuesday at Callippe Preserve Golf Course in Pleasanton. As a team, CSUSM took third place with a two-round total of 6-over 582.
FIRST TEE
- Jaksch was the only golfer to shoot under 70 in both rounds (69-68), tallying six birdies before double bogeying on the 18th hole.
- Greg Mouser finished just outside the top 10 with a share of 11th place after carding a two-round total of 2-over 146 (71-75).
- Jason McElroy placed 21st with a 4-over 148 after carding identical 74s in both rounds.
- Arman Rahgozar tied for 28th with a 7-over 151 (75-76) while Vinny Bengtson tied for 38th with an 11-over 155 (77-78).
