CSUSM Records Sweep Over CSUDH
SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team (7-15, 5-10 CCAA) clinched its third consecutive win with a sweep (25-18, 25-15, 26-24) over Cal State Dominguez Hills (6-17, 3-12 CCAA) on Friday night in The Sports Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cougars came out on fire in the opening set, putting together a .355 hitting percentage with 16 kills on 31 attempts and making only five errors to capture a 25-18 win.
- CSUSM led wire-to-wire in the second set with McCasland leading all hitters with four kills as the Cougars went up 2-0 with a 25-15 win.
- The Toros went up 6-3 in the third set before the Cougars put a rally together to even the set at 6-all on a Mya Galvan ace. The teams traded leads five times with 12 tie scores before rattling off three consecutive points capped by a block by Bakken and Jessica Thomas to complete the sweep with a 26-24 win.
