Hetrick, Morse Named to 2024-25 CCAA All-Conference Team
SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Rory Hetrick and Rose Morse of the Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team were named to the 2024-25 CCAA All-Conference Team on Tuesday. Hetrick earned first team honors while Morse was an honorable mention.
Hetrick ended the regular season as CSUSM's leading scorer at 12.0 points per game while ranking seventh in the CCAA in steals per game at 2.14. The senior transfer from San Diego tallied 21 double-digit performances, nine 15-plus point games and two double-doubles in points and rebounds. Hetrick tallied a season-high 19 points in CSUSM's first win of the season, a 70-60 victory over Cal Poly Humboldt on Jan. 18.
Averaging 10.4 points per game this season, Morse led CSUSM with a 75.4% (49-of-65) free throw percentage and 2.6 assists per game. The two-year Cougar from Walnut Creek finished the season with 17 double-digit performances including a season-high 23 points at Cal State San Bernardino on Feb. 13.
These are the first All-CCAA selections for both Hetrick and Morse.
