Renneisen Releases 2023 Women's Soccer Schedule
SAN MARCOS, Calif. – With the 2023 soccer season on the horizon, Cal State San Marcos head women's soccer coach Bobby Renneisen announced his team's schedule on Tuesday.
"We are excited to get the 2023 season underway and our women are eager to embrace the process of improving every day," Renneisen said. "The CCAA Conference is once again set up to be a competitive gauntlet of matches and our non-conference schedule will help us prepare to compete for a highly sought after conference tournament berth. Our spring was solid and with our strong incoming class, this collective group has revealed a highly motivated sense of purpose in preparation for the upcoming season."
The Cougars will open the season with six consecutive non-conference home games against The Master's (Aug. 31), Fresno Pacific (Sept. 7), Point Loma (Sept. 9), Westmont (Sept. 14), Biola (Sept. 20) and Cal State East Bay (Sept. 23).
CSUSM will begin CCAA play on the road at Stanislaus State (Sept. 29) and Chico State (Oct. 1) before hosting Cal State Dominguez Hills (Oct. 6) and Cal State LA (Oct. 8).
