The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team (1-3) battled through two tight opening sets but ultimately fell 3-0 (27-25, 26-24, 25-16) to Biola (2-2) on Saturday afternoon in the Seawolf Invitational at the Alaska Airlines Center.
CSUSM Splits Day Two of Seawolf Invitational
The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team (1-2) earned its first win of the season in commanding fashion Friday morning, sweeping Minot State (0-1) in straight sets (29-27, 25-19, 25-20) before falling to host Alaska Anchorage (6-0) in a five-set nightcap (25-21, 17-25, 32-30, 17-25, 12-15) at the Alaska Airlines Center on the second day of the Seawolf Invitational.

The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team (0-1) opened its 2025 campaign Thursday evening at the Alaska Airlines Center, falling in straight sets (25-18, 25-13, 25-11) to Alaska Fairbanks (4-1) in the first match of the Seawolf Invitational.

Cal State San Marcos Athletics had 103 student-athletes earn the Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement Award for the 2024-25 academic year.
CSUSM Leads Conference with 126 CCAA All-Academic Honorees
The Cal State San Marcos Department of Athletics saw a conference-leading 126 student-athletes earn CCAA All-Academic honors from the league office on Wednesday.
