Hutton Reveals 2023-24 Men's Golf Schedule

SAN MARCOS, Calif. ­– Cal State San Marcos Head Coach Greg Hutton announced the 2023-24 men's golf schedule on Monday afternoon. The schedule includes nine regular-season tournaments, highlighted by the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational in February of 2024.
 
"We're really excited to start this season with our current returners and our new additions to the roster," said Hutton. "We're going to have a deeper roster and that will really help us be more consistent. It's going to be a great year."

All four fall tournaments will take place in the month of October that begins at Chico State's Wildcat Classic (Oct. 2-3). Next up for the Cougars will be the Cal State Monterey Bay's Otter Invitational on Oct. 16-17. 
 
The Cougars will wrap up the fall season with a return to Hawai'i for a pair of tournaments  – the HPU Sharks Shootout (Oct. 23-24) and Hawai'i-Hilo's Dennis Rose Intercollegiate (Oct. 27-28).
 
To kickoff the new year, the Cougars will host the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational on Feb. 12-13 at Shadowridge Golf Club in Vista.
 
The Cougars will have the opportunity to play a new course at Cal State San Bernardino's D2 Prestige taking place at Rams Hill Golf Club in Borrego Springs Feb. 26-28. 
 
CSUSM will be making its fifth appearance in Cal State East Bay's Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout on March 11-12 before closing out the month at the Hanny Invitational hosted by Stanislaus State on March 25-26. The Cougars' final tune-up before postseason play will be at the Sonoma State Invite in Santa Rosa on April 15-16. 
 
CSUSM will return to Santa Rosa for the 2024 CCAA Championships on April 22-24. NCAA West/South Central Regionals will take place May 9-11 at New Mexico State Golf Course in Las Cruces, New Mexico, with the NCAA Championships on May 21-25 at Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge in Winter Garden, Florida.
