Cougars Conclude Season with Scoreless Draw Against Golden Eagles
SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team (7-5-5, 4-4-3 CCAA) concluded its 2025 season with a scoreless draw against Cal State LA (7-5-6, 4-4-3 CCAA) on Thursday at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Scoreless in the first half, CSUSM had the edge in shots (5-3) and corner kicks (5-1) while both teams put two shots on goal.
- The Cougars had a couple of late chances to score in the final five minutes, including a 3-on-2 breakaway that saw a high shot from Kayla Knoob and a lob shot over the keeper from Brittany Brown that went off the crossbar, but the game ended without a goal.
